Liwa T. Younis MD, FACC, Ph.D. completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at St. Louis University Medical Center in 1993, where he received the Upjohn Award for Excellence and Achievement in the Division of Cardiology. He served as Chief of Section at the John Cochran VAMC from 1995 to 1996. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at St. Louis University Medical Center. Dr. Younis is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine. His interest is in clinical cardiology as well as non invasive cardiology evaluation including echocardiography and cardiac nuclear imaging. He is certified in Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Younis has published extensively in the field of cardiology and is involved in multiple clinical trials in clinical cardiology.
